The non-profit association breakfast4kids e. V. has set itself the goal of providing as many children as possible with a healthy packed lunch every day. After breakfast4Kids started with the first school in a pilot project (12 packed lunches daily) at the beginning of 2009 and was able to gain experience, the concept is currently being adopted by 33 schools/day-care centres in cities such as Aachen, Alsdorf, Brühl, Eschweiler, Herzogenrath, Cologne and Stolberg. Here, breakfast4Kids feeds around 1,100 children daily.
